This Sunday could be your loudest Sunday yet! Use this prayer to fill your church with praise like never before.
Quick Prayer
Please pray aloud: God, move my church to praise like never before!
Open our lips! Raise our hands! Lift our eyes! Fill our hearts! Put a new song on our lips that we cannot contain, God. Loud shouts. A joyful noise. Move us to praise!
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Full Prayer
Please pray aloud: God, move my church to praise like never before!
Open our lips! Raise our hands! Lift our eyes! Fill our hearts! Put a new song on our lips that we cannot contain, God. Loud shouts. A joyful noise. Move us to praise!
Move us to praise you for who you are—matchless, kind, gracious, compassionate. Move us to praise you for what you’ve done—the works of your hands, the redemption by your Son. Move us to praise before the rocks cry out!
Move us to praise until you receive the power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory due your name! The heavens and ocean depths declare your praises, but you are worthy of more. Everything that has breath praises your name, but you are worthy of more. The saints and elders and angels surround your throne with praise, but you are worthy of more.
Move us to praise in every circumstance, rejoicing always. Whether in plenty or in need. Whether you give or take away. Whether the vine is fruitful or withered. Whether our spirit rejoices or our soul is downcast, we will yet praise you, our Savior and our God! We will bless you at all times; your praise will always be on our lips.
Praise awaits you this Sunday, God!
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
