Heavenly Father, your Son taught that you know our needs, just as you know and care for the needs of every bird, and yet you love us infinitely more than the birds! So I come to you now asking you to provide for our church, Lord.

Please pray aloud:
Heavenly Father, your Son taught that you know our needs, just as you know and care for the needs of every bird, and yet you love us infinitely more than the birds! So I come to you now asking you to provide for our church, Lord.
Our ministry has more needs than we have finances–salary needs, building needs, equipment needs, food needs, and outreach needs. We would have none of what we do have without your generous hand, O God. And yet, like you send the rain to return another day, we come to you now asking for you to shower your financial blessings on us again and to provide for us where we lack.
Begin with our members, God. Provide for your church through your church, O Lord. Come by your Holy Spirit and inspire each one to give in proportion to what they have received. Let none be exempt! Stir in each heart with a recognition of how much you have given, from the gift of your Son to the gift of daily bread. Just as your Holy Spirit moved the people in Jerusalem or the people of Macedonia to meet the needs of the early Church, would you move us all to the same extraordinary generosity, God?
Provide for your church through your church, O Lord.
