Most High King, this was an exceptionally busy week for the leaders of my church. Would you please refresh them this day for the work they do? Restore to them the joy of your salvation, and uphold them with a willing spirit.

Most High King, this was an exceptionally busy week for the leaders of my church. Would you please refresh them this day for the work they do?

For the pastor, who wrote extra sermons, and led extra services, and still has to write another sermon for this Sunday. Who counseled those hurting this season. As the Apostle John prayed, I pray that all may go well with them and that they may be in good health, as it goes well with their soul.

For the office admin and volunteers who printed extra bulletins and organized extra details for the church in the midst of their own busy Christmas schedule. Bless them for being a blessing to us May a time of refreshing come from your presence for the work that they do.

For the singers and musicians who learned extra music for our services. The added pressure of doing something special and memorable for us takes it ‘s toll. For their dedication, make them like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. Keep them from being to hard on themselves or having a critical spirit towards their offering.

For the children’s ministry team that worked so hard to plan and present a Christmas pageant, along with any extra kids’ programming during the holiday. Fulfill the promise of your Word to them, that those who bring blessings will be enriched, and the one who waters will himself be watered.

Overshadow these faithful workers with your Holy Spirit, Lord.

For the hospitality teams who took the time to welcome and accommodate our guests at all of our extra services, Lord. Remind them that you are pleased when the stranger is welcomed. Restore to them the joy of your salvation, and uphold them with a willing spirit.

Overshadow these faithful workers with your Holy Spirit, Lord. Refresh all who served your church so diligently these past few days, that they may have a joy and strength to serve you in the new year.
