Quick Prayer
Please pray aloud: Heavenly Father, I come to you now praying for the mothers in my church. Help us all to honor our mothers, as you commanded, that we may also experience your promise to flourish. Comfort those who cannot be mothers, those who have lost their mothers, those with an empty nest, or those who have lost a child. Give strength to the expectant mothers and the new mothers in my church.
Let every woman in our church feel cherished, blessed, and praised for the work of her hands!
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Comfort those who cannot be mothers, those who have lost their mothers, those with an empty nest, or those who have lost a child. Remind them of the power of the resurrection, that we do not grieve as those who have no hope.
Remind the the expectant mothers and the new mothers in my church that you are the God Who Sees—you see the child in the womb, you see them as they nurse in the middle of the night, you see them as they change the diaper and clean up the spilled juice.
Remind these women that you are the God Who Hears—and you hear every whispered prayer for their children. You know the agony and anxiety and hope and gratitude they feel before they even say a word.
Let the mothers in my church know that you, their family, and their church are pleased with them and their good and faithful service, that they may feel cherished, blessed, and praised for the work of her hands.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
