Please pray aloud: O God of love and peace, I come to you now praying for the marriages in my church.
Where possible, use these marriages to raise strong and godly children. Keep their romance alive. Keep their friendship fresh. Keep their communication clear and strong and thorough. But most of all, God, bring honor and glory to your name through the marriages in my church.

Please pray aloud: O God of love and peace, I come to you now praying for the marriages in my church.
You created marriage in your kingdom to bless us, Lord. To be fruitful and multiply. To be helped and to be known. To be mysteriously united as one flesh.
Protect these marriages, God. Marriage points to you, your wisdom, and your love. So the evil one seeks to cause division in our marriages just like he caused division between Adam and Eve. Keep them from adultery, that no one will separate what you have joined together.

Help the married couples in my church to treasure one another as a precious jewel and a crown of glory. Help them to hold marriage as a sacred honor. Help them to live and demonstrate all of your one another commands to each other—loving, serving, submitting, honoring, encouraging, forgiving, helping, speaking well of one another. Use their relationship to draw one another closer to you and your Son.
Move the husbands to love their wives and, as your Word commands, to lay down his life for her just as Christ laid down his life for the Church. Make them servant leaders, humbling themselves and placing the needs of their wife ahead of their own. Remind them that as they love their wife they love themselves.
Help the wives follow their husband’s leadership and, as your Word commands, to submit to him just as the Church submits to Christ. Give them a contentment and intentionality to care for the home. Fulfill your Word and adorn their heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit which is precious in your sight. Remind them also that as they love their husband they love themselves.
