Please pray aloud: Heavenly Father, I come to you now praying for the people who help with the finances at our church. For those who count and record the giving, and for those who allocate and oversee the expenses of the church—give them diligence, gratitude, attentiveness, and wisdom. Thank you for their service!

Please pray aloud: Heavenly Father, I come to you now praying for the people who help with the finances at our church. Thank you for their service!
For those who count the offering every week, give them an extra measure of diligence to handle people’s gifts with care. Remind them of your command to count the cost, and to be faithful stewards of your gifts.
For those who record the giving for every household, give them a sense of gratitude with each gift, whether it’s a large sum of money or the widow’s mite.
Doesn’t your Word that condemns the foolish man who built bigger barns also commend Joseph for saving his grain?

For those who allocate the expenses of the church to the appropriate departments and line items, give them an attentive mind. Remind them of your command to be faithful with very little, that you may make us faithful with very much. Help them feel the same responsibility the Apostles had as they distributed the gifts of the early Church.
For those who oversee the budget, weighing the giving and expenses of the church against our projections, help them balance the tension between spending for your return and saving for the future. Doesn’t your Word that condemns the foolish man who built bigger barns also commend Joseph for saving his grain? We need your insight and foresight, Lord.
We thank you in advance, Father, for fulfilling your promise to meet our every need out of your glorious riches! We thank you for moving our people to such exceptional generosity! Make us faithful and wise stewards with your silver and gold, Lord!
