Please pray aloud: Father in heaven, I come to you now praying for your blessings and guidance for those serving on the Board of my church. Make them humble and gentle, patiently bearing with one another in love, keeping the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Let your mission lead these officers as they lead the congregation, that they may hear you say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Please pray aloud: Father in heaven, I come to you now praying for your blessings and guidance for those serving on the Board of my church.
Your Son is the Head of the Church, but you have gifted different parts of the body for specific functions. These Board Members have been elected by my church to oversee our business affairs, that everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way as you command. Just as Moses and David and the Levites delegated certain duties to certain people, remind the officers of my church theirs is a calling from the highest of authorities.

I pray for my church President, that you would give them wisdom and discernment as they make decisions and lead meetings. Give them a gentle spirit as they deliberate on matters. Help them to judge with equity as you do.
I pray for my church Vice President, that you would give them a mindset of service and humility that honors your Son. Help them to not treat their role with disdain, but with enthusiasm.
I pray for my church Secretary, that you would give them an eye for detail and a heart to go the extra mile your Son commands.
I pray for my church Treasurer, that you would give them wisdom to find the balance between stewardship and generosity. Help them to use honest scales as they measure precept upon precept, line upon line.
For these and all other Board members, God, help them live a life worthy of the calling the have received. Make them humble and gentle, patiently bearing with one another in love, keeping the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Above all, God, let your mission lead these officers as they lead the congregation, that they may hear you say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
