Quick Prayer
Please pray aloud: Heavenly Father, I pray that you would show every heart in my church that you have called them and send them on your mission to redeem the world. Your mission is everywhere. Your mission is everyone. So give us the boldness to say the name of Jesus. Make us unashamed of the gospel. Make his name familiar on our lips!
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Full Prayer
Please pray aloud: Heavenly Father, I pray that you would show every heart in my church that you have sent them with your mission to redeem the world.
You are a sending God—You sent Abram to a strange land. You sent Moses to Egypt. You sent Ezekiel to Babylon. You sent prophets like Elijah and Nathan and Jonah to preach your Word. You sent your Son! Your Son then sent the disciples to the villages, he sent the healed man back to his home, and he sent Paul to the Gentiles. And now he sends every disciple with the same command:
Go.
But so many in my church don’t see that they are sent, God. Or they don’t know what it means. They think the sent ones are only the Apostles in the Bible or missionaries overseas or the preacher in the pulpit. But God, your Word is clear, every saint is sent. Every believer is an evangelist.
You commission everyone to go everywhere and tell everyone, Father.

Show us we are sent to tell the coworkers in our office about Jesus. That we are sent to our living room tell our children about Jesus. That we are sent to the people at our dance class and the golf course and the restaurant. You commission everyone to go everywhere and tell everyone, Father. So give us the boldness to say the name of Jesus. Make us unashamed of the gospel. Make his name familiar on our lips!
As your Word says, no one can be saved if they do not call on you, and no one can call on you unless they believe, and no one can believe unless they hear, and no one can hear unless we go. So send us, Lord! Make our feet beautiful! Make every heart in my church cry out with the prophet Isaiah, raising hands in surrender saying, “Here I am! Send me!”
