Please pray aloud:

Heavenly Father, you call workers to serve with their gifts when and where you please. And in my church, you have called faithful workers to serve in Kids and Youth Ministry. Bless these workers God, for being a blessing to your children!

Give our Kids and Youth leaders a fresh outpouring of energy by your Holy Spirit. Let them wake up eager to serve and with a clear understanding of what you’ve called them to do. Help them work in the minutiae of today with the mission of our church in mind and your everlasting Kingdom in their hearts. May our Kids and Youth workers not only bring joy to the kids, but let it also bring tenfold joy and satisfaction to them as they serve.

May our Kids and Youth workers not only bring joy to the kids, but let it also bring tenfold joy and satisfaction to them as they serve.
— Pray for Your Church

In the same way, God, make them efficient for the task at hand. Give them new, innovative, and exciting ideas on how to teach your truths to young hearts and minds. Breathe on them, o Breath of God. Inspire them! Give them teachings, crafts, and games that capture the attention of our little ones.

Help our Kids and Youth leaders creates systems and structures of ministry to reduce waste and duplicate work. Help them identify and eliminate time-killers for ministry. Give them tools to automate what can be automated. And show them where they can improve the safety of their ministry. And then show us as a church how we can support them in their work, whether its with our prayers, our finances, or our counsel.

Finally, Lord, help our Kids and Youth workers partner with parents in their child’s faith development. Help them equip families to take the concepts taught at church into their homes. Move our families to deeper discipleship, move parents to instruct their children in the way they should go, move children to take ownership of their faith. For their salvation, for the good of your Kingdom, and the glory of your name!

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

13 Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them. 14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Matthew 19:13-14
